Our principle dentist, Jon Bax, founded our purpose built Macclesfield practice in 2005 which is equipped with the latest technology including wireless digital radiography decreasing patient exposure to radiation and speeding up diagnosis.
With all facilities on the ground floor, our easy access surgery located in Macclesfield, Cheshire, provides a relaxed and calm environment for the whole family, which also enables us to help nervous patients become regular attendees.
Private parking is available for patients whilst visiting the practice.
We aim to provide comfortable, cosmetic treatment with the main emphasis on prevention in order to keep you smiling for life.
We provide all our patients with the best quality dental care and use as many disposable items as possible to ensure quality cross infection control.
General Information
Bax Dental has been at its new premises for 2 years in November. It is also the 10th year that Jon and his team have been in Macclesfield.
We also have a third dentist along with Eric Easson, Julian Keen whom joined the practice in August. Both have availability to care for new patients so please inform friends, family and work colleagues and invite them along to have a look and see what great facilities and care we can offer as a practice.
Patient Experiences...
From fear to complete trust!
This is how I described my visits to dentists in the past. In my twenties I had a really nasty experience which left me terrified, so much so that my children attended the dentist with their Grandmother as I couldn't even enter the building.
Some thirty years on, my partner, now my
husband introduced me to Jon.
White knuckles and sweaty palms were the order of those early visits,
and Jon was only looking. Through his patience and lots of time I began
to develop a trust which would see me having treatment without question,
painlessly I might add - minus the white knuckles.
I needed treatment recently which Jon mentioned on a routine visit.
"Would you like to make another appointment". Enquired Jon.
"Whatever you can do it now if you like". I replied.
In the past I would have run a mile and put it off as long as possible,
but not now.
Recently I have introduced my son to him, now in his twenties and fearful,
he couldn't believe it when Jon treated him with so much care and free
from pain.
