As valued patients at Bax Dental, we appreciate you have busy lives which may mean you are not always able to attend your dental appointments. Here at Bax Dental, we text and email you reminders of your appointments. Please ensure that we have your correct contact details for this service. If you do need to cancel, please contact us within a reasonable time and we will endeavour to rearrange your appointment.
Please note that failure to attend an appointment or giving inadequate notice of cancellation (i.e. less than 24hrs) means that we are unable to offer the appointment to other patients and therefore a charge may be incurred. Patients missing or cancelling appointments at short notice may not be offered routine appointments again.
Dental Plan Patients
For those patients that are on the dental plan, if you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice you will have to wait until your next routine appointment to be seen. If you wish to have an appointment sooner than this, you will be charged the private fee.
For those patients that pay for their treatment on a pay as you go basis, if you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice you will be charged depending on the length of the appointment missed. A further appointment will not be made until the failed charge is settled.
For those patients who have dental care provided under the NHS, if you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice on more than 3 occasions, you will no longer be offered any further appointments.
New patients will be asked for a £45 non-refundable deposit before booking their first appointment. This deposit will be deducted from future treatment costs.
