The practice alternates between early and late weeks. We offer appointments on early weeks from 8am until 5pm and late weeks from 10am until 7pm (Monday – Thursday) and 8am until 4pm (Friday). Please call to choose a convenient time for your appointment.

We ensure all patients take their next appointments with them and a couple of days before the appointment, we can either telephone, text or email a reminder by the method of your preference.

Reception hours vary. The surgery closes for lunch 12pm – 1pm early week and 2pm – 3 pm late week.

Please contact the practice for a fee scale and advice on consultation charges. Please note we do not charge for treating children.

Cancellations and Missed Appointments

As valued patients at Bax Dental, we appreciate you have busy lives which may mean you are not always able to attend your dental appointments. Here at Bax Dental, we text and email you reminders of your appointments. Please ensure that we have your correct contact details for this service. If you do need to cancel, please contact us within a reasonable time and we will endeavour to rearrange your appointment.

Please note that failure to attend an appointment or giving inadequate notice of cancellation (i.e. less than 24hrs) means that we are unable to offer the appointment to other patients and therefore a charge may be incurred. Patients missing or cancelling appointments at short notice may not be offered routine appointments again.

Dental Plan Patients

For those patients that are on the dental plan, if you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice you will have to wait until your next routine appointment to be seen. If you wish to have an appointment sooner than this, you will be charged the private fee.

Private Patients

For those patients that pay for their treatment on a pay as you go basis, if you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice you will be charged depending on the length of the appointment missed. A further appointment will not be made until the failed charge is settled.

NHS Patients

For those patients who have dental care provided under the NHS, if you miss an appointment or give less than 24hrs notice on more than 2 occasions, you will no longer be offered any further appointments.

Payment Methods

Cash, cheque, debit and credit cards are accepted. We do ask for payment to be made if treatment is carried out on the same day. Please contact reception for an up to date fee guide.
