BDS (Sheffield) MFDS, RCS (EDIN) Hello, I’m Shanella, and I’ve been part of the practice since 2016. Having qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2000, I completed my General Professional Training in oral surgery, restorative and paediatric specialities in the North West Deanery.

During this time, I achieved Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. My extensive postgraduate training includes the Tipton Restorative course and advanced cosmetic training with SmileFast for minimally invasive smile makeovers.

Since 2006, I’ve taught at the University of Manchester Dental School and work as a Speciality Dentist in the TMD clinic at the dental hospital, helping patients with complex jaw and facial pain.

I’ve also been providing subtle, natural facial aesthetic treatments since 2008.

My career has taken me from voluntary work in Tanzania to a rewarding sabbatical in New Zealand’s private practice and hospital dentistry. Wherever I’ve been, I love connecting with people, understanding their needs, and making them feel truly cared for.

Outside of work, I enjoy the great outdoors with my husband and our adorable geriatric puppy.
